Back to School!

Well Summer is over... I think! The weather has been great, and the kids have been playing outside all the time.
This past few months have been pretty crazy for us. Bob went back to work :( Damon started another year of Preschool and loves it. Kylie has a friend Thomas that comes to play, and she likes playing cars and watching Scooby-Doo with him.
You may have heard we have been trying to add to our family, but things are that we are subtracting them instead... unfortunately the Honda has to go! :( We need to get out of some debt... SO.... if anyone is interested give us a call. We hate to sell it, I LOVE it, but it has to happen!
It seems when things get good, maybe we get prideful and that's when we have to be humbled. We are going through the humbling times right now, but know it's only helping us get closer to our Heavenly Father and especially closer as a family and also in our marriage. I have been blessed to have a wonderful, supportive husband and family.

Turning 5!

I had a good summer, and I just finished my second season of Tee-ball. I did really good this time since I'm one of the best hitters on the team. I'm also getting better at catching the balls.
I just turned 5 and had a Halloween party, with a pinata and Darth Vader even came (haha Jared!!) My friends all came dressed up in their costumes and we had a lot of fun.
Kylie is my best friend, but I'm starting to tease her and get her to scream. I am very helpful though! I make our Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches, unload the dishes in the dishwasher and help put toys away. I'm getting big!

I can be a princess one minute and having a tantrum the next! This is me right now and I can be who I want and do what I want!!! Take that Mom!
Damon is fun and we play lots together. I am getting really good at the PBS games, but I don't have my own computer! Everyone else does! I have to share with Damon and he doesn't always let me play. Damon also got a skateboard for his birthday and hasn't let me ride it yet, but I get to ride all the other bikes and that's okay.
I'm a big girl and like to pretend I'm a Mommy, or a doctor, or a princess. I especially like to cook for all my stuffed friends. I'm enjoying life right now.
School is underway!

Well, I have started school, and that has been fun. It is nice to not have to worry about my own masters classes on top of teaching. However, I did start working on a National Board Certification this year. My mother is also doing the certification, so that will be fun for us to work on together. I am also working with the Riverton High Marching Band, which takes up some of my time as well. So, you could say I'm still just as busy as ever, but at least my stress levels are lower. I have noticed that I am nicer to my students with my lowered stress levels. I hope they are noticing the same thing. I am still finding new technology to use at school, which has been fun. I am grateful for Alicia and her supporting me in my busy schedule and all the stuff I do. She was, of course, happy to have the basement bathroom finally finished. I have to throw a project in for her every now and then.
